Lee Hart - Head Coach and Founder
As founder of the Tri Hart Triathlon program in 2007, Lee has been the head coach since its inception bringing with him over 20 yeas experience as both a Triathlon and Competitive Swim Coach. He is currently head coach of the Burlington Masters Swim Club (BMSC) and was previously affiliated with the Hamilton Hammerheads; GHAC Swim Club, Guelph Marlins, Burlington Devil Rays and Triathlon Ontario Junior Elite Programs. His Triathlon coaching experience ranges from the Kids of Steel (KOS) program to age group, ITU draft legal and Pro Ironman Athletes.
A decorated athlete himself, Lee’s accomplishments include qualifying for the Olympic Swimming Trials in 2000, qualifying for multiple World Championships in Sprint ITU and Ironman 70.3 distance races.
Susana Escobar - Swim Specialist Coach
A two-time Olympian at Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Games as well as the current Mexican record holder, Susana is a Level 2 Certified Swimming Canada and Level 4 American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) coach. She is an active member of the National Coach Certification Program with experience ranging from Novice to Provincial and National qualifiers.
Susana is a multiple medalist at International competitions including Pan American games in 2011 and Central American Games from 2006 to 2010. She swam for the University of Texas at Austin achieving All-American honors and finishing in the top 16 at the World Championships in 2009.
